Mobile Dreams

May 2015. Three performance storytellers in their mid-thirties from three different countries decide to meet in the Belgian city of Ghent and start a collaboration. They were all concerned with similar questions –

Why do we tell stories?
What is actually important in our life?
Where does the road go from here?

They walked together through parks and along rivers, talking and sharing dreams, myths and personal experiences for the better part of a week.

The result was…

Mobile Dreams – a poetic, funny and warm storytelling performance about the everlasting human search for truth and connection, freedom and beauty. In a playful stream of English spiced with their native tongues (Norwegian, Finnish and Dutch) the three performers behind “Mobile Dreams” tell a string of tales both mythical and personal, all connected by the language of dreams.

The trilateral trio named themselves 3Troubadours. And in August 2015 the group did their first tour in the Nordic countries, through Finland, Norway and Sweden.

The tour proved a great success, and in May 2016 Mobile Dreams went on the road again, this time to Belgium and the Netherlands.

Three times is a charm – in 2017 the final tour took place in England, Scotland and Wales.
